World Society for the Protection of Animals
This is about the work of Zvika Tamuz who works tirelessly to help donkeys and horses in Israel. These donkeys were seriously abused
Zvika has come to the rescue of two more abused donkeys confiscated from their owners by the authorities. Will you help save more animals suffering from cruelty and neglect?
Will you help rescue more horses and donkeys?
Zvika receives around 3 calls a day from people asking him to help abused and neglected donkeys and horses.
Since he started to work with WSPA in 2008, Zvika has rescued 161 horses and donkeys that have been injured or abandoned. Working with the authorities, he has been able to confiscate a further 129 abused or neglected animals.
The two donkeys that Zvika recently rescued were in a terrible state – they had open wounds which had been caused by pulling an overloaded cart and were obviously underweight.
