I have a 22 year disability. It stole my ability to work or even enjoy any avocations. Gradually I've gotten better. But life will never be the same. Is life every the same? I am also an insomniac. I've thought of buying a sledgehammer (I mean for self-use). The insomnia is bigger than the other issues now. Does anyone mind corresponding at 2 am or beyond? I have gotten the Pikes Peak Arts Council interested in a show by disabled artists. I mean people whose lives were REALLY interrupted. Art is now my haven. My poetry is better than my visual art, and composition (music) better than the poetry. I'd love to communicate with some of you. maybe I can expand my show to include works from those out of town.

My computer is working and I have high speed internet. I recently finished all my radiation treatments 33 to be exact and I am very happy. I will be taking a drug for five years to prevent my cancer from coming back. I am moving out of the Company Store and into another location. The move has been hectic. I am trying to market my art from this new location that is a bigger space. I will be displaying my work by myself this time. I have to set it the display up this week. I may decide to have an openning. I am not sure yet. I am also cleaning my house since I was ill and didnt do alot.I am hoping that Obama gets a one payer health care system so I can have a chance at a career. I am working as hard as I can but still trying to get my energy back.

Hi Karin, i used a photo of my design and changed it in Photoshop. It's a CGI computer graphic image now. The light in there is fantastic and a live. I have several different images from the same photo
