- More about myself
- Greetings and welcome to my page. My name is Michael Patterson, but most of my friends affectionately refer to me as "Myke". To explain a bit more about myself and my path in this life, I have been a musician from the tender age of 3. My first instrument was piano, and from there I quickly learned to play trombone, trumpet, french horn, oboe, bassoon, soprano saxophone, violin, cello, double bass, percussion, and steel drums. My parents always encouraged and supported my musicianship, which has played a major role in my development.
I currently I focus on bass and piano.
For the last two years, I have been working with Steel Heads steel drum band, and StereoTalk and often it is my job to fine tune all projects and give final approval before they are considered complete.
As the blessings continue to rain down on me, I find myself composing music for various music supervisors within the film industry. This is largely due to the fact that my cousin is a partner at the firm that manages me and they specialize in film and television production. I'm not allowed to share any of the new projects yet, but they will be out soon.
